Crane 3S uses new super motors that allow a payload up to 6.5 kg. This capacity lets you mount a wide range of cameras: shoot with a DSLR one day, and then use pro video cameras such as Sony FX9, Red Dragon or Arri Alexa the next day on the same gimbal.

For larger cinema cameras, you can attach an extension module onto the roll axis to create more mounting space. Conversely, you can remove the extension module for smaller DSLR setups, improving portability and making the gimbal easier to transport.
