Controls and quick release

Zhiyun improved ergonomics and control on the M3S. The gimbal includes a Bluetooth trigger that lets you control zoom and recording wirelessly with a single touch. In addition, a customised two-in-one quick release lets you remove the camera from the gimbal to change the battery without rebalancing the setup.

Built-in bi-colour fill light

The Crane M3S features a tiny built-in bi-colour fill light that is no bigger than a fingernail. Zhiyun calls the underlying technology Lumen Amplifier. This light can provide up to 1000 lux and offers an adjustable color temperature range from 2700K to 5500K. Therefore, you can use it to lighten shadows, for example in bright sunlight, or to add controlled fill in mixed lighting situations.

Battery and charging

The gimbal supports PD fast charging. Consequently, a full charge takes just two hours. After charging, the Crane M3S delivers a maximum battery life of up to 7.5 hours, allowing for extended shooting sessions between charges.
