The Zhiyun Molus X100 is an ultra-compact COB LED light designed for video, streaming and photography. It delivers professional power in a small package, making it suitable for on-the-go creators, small creative teams, freelancers and aspiring videographers.

Compact, powerful and portable

Weighing just 385g, the Molus X100 offers a 100W professional power output while remaining lightweight and easy to carry. As a result, you can take the light to location shoots and mobile setups without adding much bulk.

Colour quality and output

The X100 provides adjustable colour temperature from 2700K to 6500K. It achieves high colour fidelity with a CRI of ≥95 and a TLCI of ≥97. At 5500K, using the included reflector at 1 meter, the light output measures 17032 Lux.

You can power the Molus X100 in three different ways to minimise downtime and adapt to various shooting conditions. Choose between:

Controls and creative modes

You can adjust colour temperature and brightness quickly via onboard controls or through Bluetooth. Additionally, Music Mode triggers lighting effects by sound, which you can use for simulated gunshot flashes, rhythmic changes that follow music, or other sound-reactive effects.

App control and multi-light management

The Molus series works with the ZY Vega app. Through the app, you can control the X100 and the G60. The app enables full adjustment of individual lights and the ability to group multiple lights for synchronized control.

Cooling and consistent output

The X100 uses Zhiyun's DynaVort Cooling System. This system combines gyroscope-modelled heat sinks with a FOC fan. Based on fluid dynamics and an attitude-control algorithm, it improves cooling efficiency by intelligently controlling airflow emissions. As a result, the light maintains smooth illumination output without flickering during use.

Mounting and modifiers

Every Molus LED light uses the ZY mount, which makes it easy to attach Zhiyun light modifiers. If you prefer to use existing modifiers, a Bowens adapter is also available so you can keep using those accessories.
