The Zhiyun Weebill 3S Combo Gimbal builds on Zhiyun’s popular Weebill line for professional content creators. It introduces a tenth generation of algorithms to boost gimbal performance. Additionally, Zhiyun refined the ergonomics with the new SLING 2.5 design and added features that support both standard and vertical shooting workflows.

Improved ergonomics and new sling design

Zhiyun evolved the Weebill’s ergonomics from the previous model to make longer shoots more comfortable. The SLING 2.5 design offers a softer grip that reduces hand fatigue. Moreover, the gimbal includes an extendable sling grip that adjusts for two-handed use. You can change the sling grip to alter left and right tilt and to shift the grip’s center of gravity. As a result, low-angle and sling-mode shooting become easier and more stable.

In addition, the wrist rest now features an adjustable knob. This allows users to set the wrist rest angle to their preference for improved handling during extended sessions.

Fast switch between portrait and landscape

Zhiyun focused more on vertical shooting with the Weebill 3S. The gimbal includes an innovative quick-release system that lets you change between portrait and landscape modes without rebalancing the gimbal. This makes transitions during run-and-gun shoots faster and more efficient.

Lumen Amplifier fill light for on-camera illumination

The Weebill 3S comes with Zhiyun Lumen Amplifier technology built into the gimbal. The fill light delivers up to 1000 Lux and offers an adjustable color temperature range from 2600 to 5500K. The light has a CRI of 90+, providing accurate color rendition for interviews, run-and-gun setups, and fill-light applications on location.

Controls, connectivity and customization

The gimbal places two customizable buttons on the front panel. You can assign functions to those buttons according to your shooting needs. The Weebill 3S also supports Bluetooth communication with the most common camera models. As a result, you can use Bluetooth shutter control with most cameras to start and stop recording or to trigger photo-taking functions without a cable.

Battery life and charging

The Weebill 3S provides up to 12 hours of battery life on a full charge. For faster turnaround between shoots, it reaches full power in approximately two hours using PD charging.

Compatibility and expandability

The new Weebill 3S is fully compatible with the Zhiyun Transmount ecosystem. This allows you to add Transmount accessories for monitoring and wireless control as your setup grows. The gimbal’s accessory compatibility helps integrate lighting, monitors, and other tools into a cohesive workflow.
