Stronger motor and smarter balancing

Zhiyun upgraded the motor system with a 300% increase in power torque and improved the unit’s responsiveness by 50%. As a result, the gimbal reacts faster and supports heavier camera combinations more reliably. In addition, a new self-adaptive control algorithm automatically recognizes the mounted weight and selects the appropriate motor strength for optimal shooting accuracy.

Furthermore, the WEEBILL S supports an expansion bar that adds a counterweight for fine balancing. Use the sling mode ergonomics to switch quickly between high and low angles, to mount a microphone, or to record with a GoPro while you shoot.

TransMount Image Transmission Module for monitoring and livestreaming

The included TransMount image transmission module delivers professional monitoring tools and reliable video links. It transmits 1080p video at 30fps and supports distances up to 100 meters. The transmission also adds useful monitoring features such as LUT support, pseudo coloring, focus peaking, and zebra exposure display.

Additionally, the module improves usability by allowing you to connect up to three separate devices at once. You can monitor on a smartphone, tablet, or a professional monitor simultaneously, which helps in multi-person shoots or livestream setups.

ViaTouch 2.0 and SmartFollow 2.0 for object tracking and control

ViaTouch 2.0 in the ZY Play app creates a seamless connection between smartphone and camera. Through the app you can monitor video, control recording, and adjust camera parameters remotely. When paired with the image transmission module, the system offers SmartFollow 2.0, an object-tracking function. Select the subject from the ViaTouch 2.0 interface and the camera will follow your movement with ultra-low latency for cinematic tracking shots.

Focus and zoom control

The WEEBILL S adds a new focus wheel on the grip that supports both electronic focus and mechanical focus/zoom control. When used with a compatible servo focus/zoom motor, you can perform fast and accurate focus pulls or zoom changes from the gimbal handle for a more professional filmmaking workflow.

Battery life and camera power

The gimbal uses two standard 18650 Li‑Ion batteries. On a single charge, it can deliver up to 14 hours of continuous filming. In addition, the WEEBILL S can supply direct power to a connected camera while you shoot, which reduces interruptions for battery swaps. Note that direct camera charging only works with cameras that support USB charging.

Fast setup and secure transport

The WEEBILL S features a two-in-one quick release plate that supports both Arca-Swiss and Manfrotto mounting standards.
