Nimble and agile like a wasp, here where “Vespid” comes from. Even with a compact size and light weight, these lenses have a 46.5mm image circle and are perfectly used on large format cameras with minimum breathing during focusing.

Individual or in group, is swift and fast

In this set of compact “Vespid”, there are six general focal lengths, they are 25mm, 35mm, 50mm, 75mm, 100mm and 125mm. They share a constant T2.1 stop. These six lenses cover the most frequently used focal lengths and deliver more possibilities.

Light and Portable

Weighing only 732g-940g, these lenses are super compact and portable, convenient for documentary shooting or under narrow surroundings. With a φ80mm front diameter and a φ46.5mm image circle, Vespid are applicable for most full-frame or vista vision cinema cameras in the market.

Standard Mechanics and Solid Build

Consistent performance, uniform front diameter and same position of gears, all these are the basic feature of cinema prime lenses, and so does Vespid Prime.
Adhering to DZOFILM’s style and manufacturing concept, these lenses are all metal mechanics with solid build. Butter-like rotation feeling let both hand control and follow focus operate smoothly.
And they feature 0.8mm pitch gear on the focus and aperture ring, with a 270° focus throw of the focus ring.

Round Bokeh and Neutral Color

With 16 blades of diaphragm, Vespid generates a pleasing round Bokeh and beautiful star-like figure from wide open to stop down. Close to 0.3m focus distance, help users to discover more details of the subject. This series of prime is a balance between modernity and slightly vintage. Neutral color, reproducing the actual image, give you more room to post processing. Also the minimal breathing create a better immersion to the story.

There are PL and EF versions In this series, so users can choose based on their camera mounts. No extra bayonet to exchange in the package, but additional PL mount or EF mount will be available later.
