The Athena Prime Lens Series E mount is also equipped with a drop-in filter mount, providing a more flexible workflow and creative control for filmmaking. In addition, these lenses have been designed to minimize focus breathing, ensuring that the change in field of view when adjusting focus from minimum focus distance to infinity is extremely small.

All NiSi Athena Prime lenses are matched in weight and size, eliminating the need for rebalancing on a gimbal when changing between lenses. The 77mm filter thread (except 14mm) and matched aperture and focus rings across the range also make it easy to use lens accessories such as filters and focus switches. The focus ring features 300° rotation with fluorescent focal length scales for precise focusing moves, making it easier for filmmakers to achieve the desired focus.

25/35/50/85mm all have a maximum aperture of T1.9. 14mm has a maximum aperture of T2.4. Athena lenses have soft bokeh for beautiful background separation.

No visible focus breathing

The RF and E mount models have a drop-in filter slot while the PL mount takes rear screw-in filters.

All NiSi Athena Prime lenses are equal in weight. They do not require rebalancing on a gimbal when switching between Athena lenses. All lenses share the same size and 77mm filter thread (14mm has no thread). Both aperture and focus rings are matched across the range.
