The lens has 14 lens elements in 9 groups of four aspherical lenses, an ED-Lens (Extra-Low Dispersion) and a Ultra High Refractive Index (UHR) lens. The aspherical lens elements prevent spherical and distortion while retaining the size and weight of the lens. The ED lens corrects chromatic aberration and contributes to sharp, high-contrast images and clear colors, and the UHR lens contributes to further enhanced optical performance. A Nano Surface Coating, antireflex treated eliminates reflexes and shine so you get crystal clear images even when shooting with a light source in the dark.
