This 15mm LWS Baseplate Core is designed for use with the Sony VENICE 1 & 2 in combination with B4004.1024 Split Riser or B4004.1001 Standard Riser. It sets the Sony VENICE 1 & 2 to the correct height for 15mm LWS setups with a quick-release base compatible with any ARRI standard dovetails or B4003.1008 LeftField dovetail plate. UNIQUE OPEN•UP QUICK-RELEASE SYSTEM The baseplate features our patented Open•UP Quick-Release system that lets you slide, lock & vertically release the camera from any ARRI standard balance plate, or B4003.1008 LeftField low profile dovetail plate. Multiple safety mechanisms prevent any accidental releases, adding extra piece of mind when handling large camera builds. ACCESSORY MOUNTING The baseplate has front & rear 15mm LWS rod mounts. The rear also features mounting points for use with the KASBAH Shoulder Pad. To set the camera up for 15mm/19mm Studio, the B4003.1031 BP-8/BP-9 Adapter can be used for compatability with ARRI BP-8 & BP-9 Studio Bridgeplates. The baseplate is not compatible with B4003.1013 & B4003.1014 LeftField Studio QR Bridgeplates. EXTRA CARE COMES STANDARD Machined and hand-finished in our single factory in Church Crookham from high-grade materials. Hard anodised for extended durability.
