NATO Compatibility

The NATO rail is one of the most convenient means of attaching and detaching camera accessories, allowing sliding travel to optimise component placement. This means that you have plenty of options for mounting the NATO rail, including the B4013.1007 – 15mm NATO Rail or B4013.0003 - NATO Cheese Stick.

Adjustable Resistance

With independent drag adjustment for tilt and pan, you can set the tension to your preference: increasing or decreasing the resistance to adjust the monitor’s viewing angle. Simply use a 2mm hex key to set the drag to your ideal resistance, allowing for smooth, stable repositioning with a reliable hold once set.

Easily Stowed

For safe transport, the hinge allows you to rotate the monitor inward, tucking it within the rig. This protective feature helps shield the monitor from impact during transit, ensuring that your monitor is secure and ready for your next shoot.

Independent Locks for Pan and Tilt

The hinge includes independent locks for both pan and tilt, enabling faster adjustments while ensuring the monitor remains stable and precisely positioned. This also means that you can lock-off one axis whilst maintaining articulation on the other.

Instructions/Assembly

The NATO monitor hinge ships assembled as a standalone unit, including the required screws.

You will require:

• 2mm Hex Key (for drag adjustment)
• 3mm Hex Key (for mounting bracket)
• 4mm Hex Key (for monitor mount)

Stock Monitor Mount Disassembly

1. Use the 4mm Hex key to detach the LCD from the stock monitor mount.

Monitor to Hinge

1. Attach the monitor block to the LCD monitor by using a 4mm Hex Key on the 1/4"-20 screw, aligning the locating pins into the locating holes.
2. Rotate the hinge to gain access to the mounting points.
3. Attach the monitor block to the monitor hinge with the two M4 screws, using the 3mm Hex Key.

Hinge to NATO Rail

1. Unlock the NATO lock lever.
2. Slide the NATO clamp onto a corresponding NATO rail, until it is the optimum position for your rig.
3. Lock the lever to secure the hinge in place.
