ARRI Standard Rosettes

ARRI standard rosettes on both sides of the frame enable seamless integration with our KASBAH hand grips and arms, as well as other compatible accessories.

Front & Rear 15mm Rod Support

The front of the handheld rig features a height adjustable 15mm rod clamp for supporting matte boxes, focus motors & lens supports. Also included with this kit is the rear 15mm rod mount which is ideal for mounting battery plates for counterbalance.

Articulating Hand Grips and 15mm LWS/19mm Bridge

Get optimal weight distribution with the included KASBAH hand grip system. There are several ways to configure the kit to match your preferred setups. You can mount the kit using the 15mm LWS or 19mm bridge, or directly attach the hand grips and arms to the ARRI standard rosettes on the shoulder rig. The precision-machined rosettes allow you to adjust the arm positions swiftly and securely, without the risk of slipping.

Instructions

Shoulder Rig, Pad & Rod Mounts

Attach the shoulder pad to the frame by sliding it on. Ensure you complete this step before installing the VCT-14 kit.

To set up the VCT mounting kit, align the locating pins with the corresponding holes on the KASBAH Ātman frame. Fasten the two screws located on the rear foot and the three screws on the front foot using a 4mm Hex key.

To attach the front 15mm rod bracket, align the two captive screws with the mounting holes at the front of the frame. Secure them using a 3mm Hex key in a crisscross pattern.

Attach the rear 15mm rod bracket, align the guide pins with the corresponding holes on the KASBAH Ātman Frame. Use a 3mm Hex key to fasten the two captive bolts in an alternating sequence.

Hand Grip System

The Hand Grip kit includes the rod bridge, two shoulder joints, two grip arms, and two handles.

Begin by attaching the two shoulder joints to each end of the rod bridge.

Next, connect the rosettes of the grip arms to the rosettes on the shoulder joints.

Finally, attach the hand grips to the grip arms - To adjust any joint, simply loosen the adjustment knobs, reposition as needed, and retighten.

To mount onto 15mm or 19mm rods, loosen the orange thumbscrew, slide onto the rods and retighten.
