Designed to work with the latest Canon cameras, the LeftField 3 BUD Spacer is an essential for integrating Balance Utility Dovetail (BUD) workflows. Coupled with our dedicated 15mm LWS Baseplate and BUD Riser, the spacer ensures that your camera is set to the standard height.

Nothing Out of Left-field

The BUD Spacer connects to LeftField 3 15mm LWS Baseplates. This adaptability means that existing equipment isn’t made redundant, allowing for flexibility in constructing a camera setup for new Canon cameras without entirely new parts.

When switching camera systems, only the riser will need to be replaced to set different camera heights.

Ubiquitous Design

Using M4 screws, which are easily installed with a 3mm Hex Key, attaching the BUD Spacer is a quick and easy process. Going on top of your choice of baseplate such as the B4003.1034 – LeftField 3 15mm LWS Baseplate Core and below the B4003.1036 – Universal BUD Riser.

A Critical Component

The BUD Spacer must be used with B4003.1036 – LeftField 3 Universal BUD Riser to form the complete system.

Instructions/Assembly

The BUD Spacer ships as a standalone option, with the four required screws included.

1. To install the spacer, use a 3mm Hex Key to attach the screws in the four corners with the matching points at the centre of your LeftField 3 15mm Baseplate.
2. The spacer also has threaded holes at the top, which align perfectly for mounting the Universal BUD Riser.

Ensure that all screws are tightly fastened, and that the space is level within the baseplate to avoid compounding balance issues when adding other components.

Compatibility

The LeftField 3 BUD Spacer is designed for use within our LeftField 3 system, and is compatible with both the B4003.1034 – LeftField 3 15mm LWS Baseplate and the B4004.1039 – LeftField 3 BUD 15mm LWS Baseplate. It is also required to work with the B4003.1036 – Universal BUD Riser and B4003.1056 – Universal BUD Plate to mount compatible Canon camera systems:
