SHAPE Blackmagic Ursa Mini Kit

The SHAPE V-Lock Quick Release Baseplate is a long format baseplate compatible with the the Blackmagic Ursa Mini cameras. It can be used shoulder mounted, tripod mounted, and attached to V-lock tripod adapters. It should be used with cameras with external viewfinders. The baseplate includes a removable shoulder pad and features rosette adapters for ARRI standard handles. It has 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 tripod mount threads and a V-lock delta adapter for attaching SHAPE VCT Tripod Plate (VCTSH) or any VCT-14 tripod plate.

SHAPE VCT universal Baseplate Arri Rosette 

The SHAPE VCT universal baseplate Arri rosette (BPVCT)is a lighter version of the V-lock quick release baseplate (BP0008) without therear rod bloc. It can be used shoulder mounted, tripod mounted, and attached toV-lock tripod adapters. It should be used with cameras with externalviewfinders.

The baseplate includes a removable shoulder pad and featuresrosette adapters for ARRI standard handles. It has 1/4"-20 and3/8"-16 tripod mount threads and a V-lock delta adapter for attachingSHAPE VCT Tripod Plate (VCTSH) or any VCT-14 tripod plate. The shoulder padsecures on by touch fasteners. The tripod mount threads are located underneaththe shoulder pad.

One pair of 15 mm 8" rods are included for the front. For attaching a matte-box and other accessories, the rod adapter can be adjusted vertically if you remove the screw holding it in position.

This baseplate also supports optional SHAPE 15 mm Studio and 19 mm Studio adapters in place of the included one. The baseplate features three camera mount slots, all supporting 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 screws. The off-center slots allow you to mount your camera offset if you use a 15 mm Studio Adapter.

Multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 mounting threads are peppered behind the three slots for attaching articulating arms and other accessories. Two 1/4"-20 and two 3/8"-16 camera mount screws are included.

Spare Pad for BPSeries

The V-Lock Replacement Pad from SHAPE is a replacement shoulder pad for the BP SERIES v-lock quick release baseplate (BP0008, BP8000, BP7000). The pad utilizes a hook-and-loop system which allows for easy attachment and removal. The additional padding provided by the strap increases user comfort and reduces strain on the shoulder.

Single Telescopic Handle Arri Rosette left side 

Left telescopic handgrips with ARRI rosettes that canbe attached to cameras or camera support hardware that has standard ARRIrosettes, which allow you to lock your arms in place.

The arm features fourpoints of articulation (2 Push-button and 2 ratchet knob) to adjust the armsposition. The ratchet knob along the arms allows you to extend the arms up to 2inches and rotate the handgrips throughout 360°. The one near the rosette givesyou more option to position the arm for your comfort.

SHAPE is well known forits patented Push-button handle, now used by so many professionals in theindustry. The technology was developped to give filmakers quick and easyadjustment. By simply pressing the button, you are allowed a 360-degreerotation to place the handle in the best position for your use. Push, adjust,release, and then its lock.

The Push-button system on the Handle articulating joint provides additional articulation near the rosette, while the second push-button articulation joint allows you to rotate and precisely position the rubber handgrips.

Black Ursa Mini Remonte Extension Handle

The Blackmagic Ursa Mini remote extension handle from SHAPE offers an adjustable arm extension for the side hand grip provided with the Ursa Mini. It features SHAPE's patented Push-Button technology for easy angle adjustment and 360-degree rotation. The extendable arm is equipped with a ratchet key to easily adjust the length of the arm. The remote extension arm enables users to fix the Ursa Mini side hand grip directly on the ARRI rosettes of the baseplate.

SHAPEengineering is internationally renowned and there is one of the most robustmotion picture accessories ever built. It mounts on 15 mm rods andfeatures an adjustable arm which puts the gear at the optimal position for thelens, no matter what the diameter is.

The unit snaps onto 15 mm rods, allowingfor quick attachment, removal, and repositioning. Two 0.8 pitch gears comeincluded and give you a choice of either 28 teeth or 43 teeth - depending onthe throw distance of the lens.

Additional features include two adjustable hardstops, removable marking disc, and an industry standard accessory port forusing optional whips and cranks.

While the Follow Focus Pro contains the essentials for pulling focus on any type of project production, the choice of either 15 mm rod adaptors means that you can SHAPE the system to meet your particular requirements.

Matte Box 4x4 

The SHAPE 2-Stage 4 x 4" Matte Box acceptslenses with up to a 100 mm front outside diameter. It mounts to 15 mm LWS rodsand utilizes a swing-away design, which lets you perform quick lens changeswithout having to remove the matte box from your rods.

You can adjust theheight of the matte box in relation to the rods, which comes in handy when yourlens center to rod center height is slightly off from the standard.

Tworotating filter stages support the use of 4x4" filters. The matte box comeswith a top flag (eyebrow), side flags, four matte box donuts in 66, 72, 82, and90 mm sizes, and elastic donut. The matte box also has a rear opening of 100 mm for lenses.

The included anti-reflection donuts prevent light behind the camerafrom reflecting off any filters in the matte box and degrading the image.Included with the matte box are anti-reflection donuts for lenses with a frontoutside diameter of 66, 72, 82, and 90 mm. The included elastic donut supportslenses with a front outside diameter between 66 and 90 mm, and it is especiallyuseful with lenses that grow and shrink as you change focus or zoom.

The sideflags incorporate a hook design as a safety feature where they attach to thematte box. This helps prevent them from falling out of the matte box should thelockdown thumbscrew loosen accidentally.

The swing-away bracket incorporates aheight adjustment, enabling you to compensate a total of 0.65" vertically.

This allows you to use this matte box with a variety of camera/rod supportcombinations that may vary slightly from the industry standard 85 mm distancefrom LWS rod center to lens port center.
