Native SMPTE-2110 with redundant 100G Ethernet

The ATEM 4 M/E Constellation IP Plus is designed as a true SMPTE-2110 switch with 16 100G QSFP28 ports operating in redundant pairs according to SMPTE-2022-7. Each redundant port pair handles up to 8 Ultra HD channels simultaneously, enabling extremely large productions with high security. Should a network connection fail, there is an automatic and seamless transition to the redundant connection without affecting the broadcast.

64 inputs and 64 outputs for large productions

This Plus model offers a full 64 video inputs and 64 video outputs in the SMPTE-2110 environment. Each input has its own standard converter and re-synchronizer, which means that incoming signals are automatically adapted to the production's video standard. This simplifies the integration of equipment from different sources and minimizes the risk of signal problems during live broadcast.

16 Advanced Keyers for advanced graphics and virtual production

The ATEM 4 M/E Constellation IP Plus is equipped with 16 ATEM Advanced Chroma Keyers, making it ideal for news production, virtual sets, sports graphics and advanced live productions. The keyer system offers precise color keying, edge processing, spill suppression and color correction for high-quality professional green screen productions.

12 DVEs and dual SuperSource processors

The switcher contains four internal DVE processors and two separate SuperSource processors that together provide a total of 12 DVE layers. This enables advanced picture-in-picture solutions, multi-camera interviews, presentation layouts, sports graphics and creative transitions without burdening external systems. SuperSource acts as a built-in multi-layer video processor capable of creating complex image compositions in real time.

Four independent multiview outputs

For efficient monitoring, the ATEM 4 M/E Constellation IP Plus offers four independent multiview outputs that can display up to 64 sources simultaneously. Each multiview can be individually customized with different layouts, tally indications, audio meters and source names. This gives production staff a full overview of all video sources and program flows.

Fairlight Live integration for professional audio management

The switcher is fully integrated with Fairlight Live and offers an advanced audio mixer with 132 channels. The system supports surround sound, mix-minus, talkback, audio-follow video, dynamics processing, 6-band parametric EQ and integration with external Fairlight controllers. This makes the solution particularly attractive for larger productions where the sound is as important as the picture.

USB webcam output for streaming and video conferencing

Via the rear USB-C port, the ATEM 4 M/E Constellation IP Plus can act as a professional webcam for Zoom, Microsoft Teams, OBS Studio, XSplit and other video platforms. The computer recognizes the switcher as a regular webcam while giving the user access to the full multi-camera production environment and professional transitions.

Professional control via software or ATEM panels

ATEM Software Control is included at no extra cost and provides full control of video, audio, media, macros and cameras via Mac or Windows. For larger productions, the switcher can be complemented with ATEM Advanced Panels and ATEM Camera Control Panels for a traditional broadcast working environment with physical control and quick access to all functions.
