ATEM 1 M / E Constellation HD image mixer has a compact rack-mounted design with a built-in control panel! With 10 HD inputs with audio and video via SDI, this is an incredibly powerful live mixer. Each input has a built-in, dedicated scaler, which makes it easier for you to connect all types of imaging devices without having to bother with resolutions and external scaling equipment. You control your entire production via the ATEM Software Control panel or one of Blackmagic's ATEM control units, such as the ATEM 1 M / E Advanced Panel or the ATEM 2 M / E Broadcast Panel.

Compact and powerful - 10 SDI inputs and 6 SDI outputs
With 10 combined QuadLink inputs in HD, ATEM Constellation is an incredibly powerful image mixer for live production. Each input has a dedicated "up and cross converter", so-called scaler, which means it rescales the input signal to fit the project format. This means that you can mix cameras and other imaging devices with different resolutions in production.

Dedicated buttons on the unit and built-in LCD panel
With the dedicated buttons on the front of the device, you can switch the image source in both program and monitor mode, activate transitions, enter "keyers", activate media players and "fade to black". Via the built-in screen, you see your active program feed and thus get a quick overview of your production, for example if you have the device mounted in a rack.

A built-in multiview
The multiview output allows you to send your outgoing video streams to a separate monitor to get a clear overview of all your cameras and what you send out in live production. One to 16 simultaneous video sources can be displayed on each screen simultaneously and you can freely decide which source is displayed on which screen.

Built-in transitions in HD
ATEM Constellation comes with several transitions, such as mix, dip, wipe - all prepared to handle HD resolution. The transitions can be adjusted with length, color, position and direction.

Supports talkback via XLR, ethernet or SDI
On the front panel of the unit there is an output for talkback via 5-pin XLR and on the back there is expansion port via RJ12 socket (ethernet) for using talkback system.

Two media pools for playing graphics or images
The built-in media storage holds 20 still images in HD. Moving graphics for animations, nameplates and logos amount to 400 in HD or as many as 200 frames in full HD.
4 pieces of ATEM Advanced Keyers for chromakeying (green screen) in high quality
The unit supports 4 advanced "keyers" to work with virtual studios and backgrounds via chroma- (green screen) or luma-keying.

ATEM Software Control Panel gives you full control via your computer
Via the software mixer ATEM Software Control Panel, which is included at no extra cost, you get full control over your image mixer. The program also includes support for camera control, sound mixer, media storage, macro programming and also control over HyperDeck recorders.
