Blackmagic Design ATEM 4 M/E Constellation 4K
Featuring 40 12G-SDI inputs and 24 12G-SDI outputs, the ATEM 4 M/E Constellation 4K Switcher from Blackmagic Design connects to a wide range of cameras and sources, delivering video in resolutions up to 10-bit UHD 4K60 via the 12G-SDI program outputs or 1080p and 720p webcam outputs via USB-C. The switcher has four multiview outputs with up to 16 routable windows that can display inputs, keyed video, graphics and still images from the media pool, as well as the program output. Each input connects to a built-in Fairlight audio mixer that supports up to 156 audio channels.

Compact and powerful – 40 SDI inputs and 24 SDI outputs
With a whopping 40 SDI inputs in 4K, the ATEM Constellation is an incredibly powerful image mixer for live production. Each input has a dedicated "up and cross converter", so-called scaler, meaning it rescales the input signal to fit the project format. This means you can mix cameras and other imaging devices with different resolutions in production.
Dedicated buttons on the device and built-in LCD panel
With the dedicated buttons on the front of the unit, you can change the image source in both program and monitor mode, activate transitions, insert "keyers", activate media players and "fade to black". Via the built-in screen you can see your active program feed and thus get a quick overview of your production, for example if you have the unit mounted in a rack.
Four built-in multiviews
The multiview output allows you to send your output video streams to a separate monitor to get a clear overview of all your cameras and what you are sending out in the live production. One to 16 simultaneous video sources can be displayed on each screen at the same time and you can freely decide which source is displayed on which screen.
Built-in transitions in 4K
ATEM Constellation comes with several transitions, such as mix, dip, wipe – all prepared to cope with 4K resolution. The transitions can be customized with length, color, position and direction.
Supports talkback via XLR, ethernet or SDI
On the front panel of the unit there is an output for talkback via 5-pin XLR and on the back there is expansion port via RJ45 socket (ethernet) to use talkback system.
Two media pools for playing graphics or images
The built-in media storage holds 60 still images in HD. Moving graphics for animations, nameplates and logos amount to 1200 or a full 600 frames.
16 ATEM Advanced Keyers for chroma keying (green screen) in high quality
The device supports 16 advanced "keyers" for working with virtual studios and backgrounds via chroma- (green screen) or luma-keying.
The ATEM Software Control Panel gives you full control via your computer
Via the software mixer ATEM Software Control Panel, which is included at no extra cost, you get full control over your image mixer. The program also supports camera control, audio mixing, media storage, programming of macros and also control of HyperDeck recorders.
