Decimator MD-CROSS V2 is a compact and powerful HDMI/SDI cross converter with built-in scaler, frame rate conversion and advanced test pattern generator. It combines features that normally require larger, computer-controlled systems - in a small, self-contained format perfect for broadcast, live production and technical troubleshooting.
HDMI to SDI - SDI to HDMI
The MD-CROSS V2 has both HDMI and 3G-SDI input and can convert the signal in both directions. Whether you need to go from HDMI to SDI or vice versa, the device handles SD, HD and 3G formats up to 1080p60.
Built-in scaler and frame rate conversion
The integrated scaler allows you to upscale or downscale signals and convert frame rate to the desired output standard. Firmware 2.0.6 also supports 3G-SDI Levels A and B and conversion between them, including support for 1080p50/59.94/60.
14 flexible conversion modes
MD-CROSS V2 offers 14 different conversion modes, providing maximum flexibility in professional workflows. For example, you can loop SDI while scaling HDMI, or convert both signals in parallel depending on your needs.
Advanced test pattern generator
The unit has a built-in test pattern generator with 26 selectable output formats and 54 test patterns, including Luma and Chroma zone plates. Ideal for system testing, troubleshooting and calibration.
Overlay and audio management
MD-CROSS V2 supports Title Safe, Action Safe and center cross-overlay as well as text overlay. Up to 16 channels of audio level measurement can be displayed directly on screen. Audio pairs in the SDI and HDMI outputs can be rearranged as needed.
LCD display and easy control
The built-in LCD display and four control buttons allow all settings to be managed directly on the unit - no DIP switches or computer required. The USB port is used for firmware updates and external control.
Robust and professional design
The MD-CROSS V2 comes with a power adapter and lockable power cable to minimize the risk of accidental disconnection during operation.
