Atomos Ninja TX GO – HDMI monitor-recorder with up to 6Kp30 Apple ProRes/RAW recording

The Atomos Ninja TX GO combines HDMI input and output with professional monitoring tools and high-resolution recording. It records up to 6Kp30 Apple ProRes/RAW to CFexpress Type B or external USB-C drives. In addition, it offers built-in camera-to-cloud functionality with a free ATOMOSphere membership and runs on the AtomOS Linux platform for fast performance and over-the-air updates.

Integrated camera control and connectivity

Ninja TX GO introduces built-in camera control as a free feature. When available via an upcoming OTA firmware upgrade, you can adjust exposure settings—such as aperture, shutter speed and ISO—directly from the Ninja on supported cameras from Canon, Fujifilm, Nikon, Panasonic, Sony, Z CAM and other leading brands. This tight integration helps streamline on-set operation and reduces the need to access the camera body during a take.

The unit supports Wi‑Fi 6E and NDI 6/HX3 streaming. Consequently, you can connect to ATOMOSphere, Frame.io and Dropbox for direct uploads from the device. The Ninja TX GO includes 20GB of free ATOMOSphere cloud storage to get you started with camera-to-cloud workflows.

Built for HDMI workflows

Ninja TX GO accepts RAW-capable HDMI inputs and records up to 6Kp30 ProRes RAW directly to CFexpress Type B media or to external USB-C SSDs. It supports Apple ProRes, Avid DNx and H.265/H.264 codecs, offering flexibility across post-production pipelines. The unit includes three USB-C ports that handle power, storage and calibration tasks to simplify the capture-to-delivery chain.

Preloaded codecs and streaming support

The device ships with preloaded codecs including Apple ProRes/RAW up to 6Kp30, Avid DNx and H.265/H.264. It also supports NDI 6 HX3 TX & RX for efficient IP-based streaming. These codecs and streaming options let you switch between recording formats and live workflows with minimal setup changes.

Comprehensive color and metadata handling

Ninja TX GO supports selected log formats from Sony, ARRI, JVC, RED, FUJIFILM, Nikon, Panasonic and Canon. You can upload custom 3D LUTs to the monitor and output HDR conversions to Log, HLG, PQ or Dolby Vision formats. This ensures color and metadata travel with your footage through monitoring and into post-production.

Brighter, smarter monitoring

The 5‑inch HDR touchscreen delivers 1500 nits of brightness for visible monitoring even in direct sunlight. It includes professional tools such as EL Zone™, waveform, vectorscope, focus peaking and touch-to-focus. These tools help you verify framing, exposure and color accuracy on set and speed up decision-making during shoots.

Relationship to the Ninja family

Ninja TX GO shares the next-generation AtomOS platform and many modern workflows with other Ninja models. For productions that require additional I/O and features, the Ninja TX (non‑GO) adds SDI I/O, AirGlu™ wireless timecode and expanded 8Kp30 RAW recording for compatible cinematic cameras. Both models benefit from faster AtomOS performance, OTA updates and a robust locking cable system for reliable connections.
