The SmallRig 5270 selfie stick is specifically engineered for action cameras. It works well for self-portraits, group photography, and similar scenarios where you need a stable, extended reach for your camera.
The stick collapses to a highly portable 28cm for easy transport. When you need more reach, it extends to a full 150cm, making it ideal for capturing wider group shots or higher-angle perspectives.
For handheld use, the included wrist strap adds security. It helps prevent accidental drops during operation.
For outdoor stabilization, SmallRig includes a 15cm ground spike. The spike attaches to the bottom of the selfie stick using a 1/4"-20 screw. Use the spike on soft surfaces such as grass, sand, or campsite terrain to keep the stick steady.
Note: the ground spike and wrist strap cannot be used at the same time; the design requires choosing one attachment depending on your setup.
If you prefer a more compact maximum reach, SmallRig also offers a 95 cm selfie stick (model 5403).
