This SmallRig 5662 cage protects your FUJIFILM X-T30, X-T30 II, or X-T30 III while adding multiple mounting and handling options. It preserves access to the camera’s card slots, screen, battery compartment, and other interfaces so you can operate the camera without removing the cage.

Secure attachment and scratch protection

The cage fastens to the camera with a bottom 1/4"-20 screw and a left-mounted M3 screw. Built-in pads sit between the camera body and the cage to prevent scratches during mounting and everyday use. For quick assembly and maintenance, the cage includes a built-in double-head wrench at the bottom, which simplifies tightening and loosening the mounting screws.

Expand with multiple mounting points

SmallRig designed the 5662 with a variety of threaded and locating holes so you can add accessories where you need them. The top and sides accept multiple 1/4"-20 threaded and locating holes as well as ARRI 3/8"-16 locating holes, which work well for side handles, top handles, and monitor mounts to support smoother camera movement.

Additionally, the side includes a dedicated 1/4"-20 locating hole for mounting magic arms. The cage also integrates a cold shoe mount for microphones and lights, making it practical for vlogging and on-camera audio/light setups.

For carrying options, the cage features a strap slot for wrist straps and a QD socket that accepts quick release shoulder straps, allowing fast transition between handheld and shoulder-mounted shooting.

Arca-Swiss quick release compatibility for tripods and gimbals

The cage’s bottom integrates an Arca-Swiss quick release plate. This ensures compatibility with Arca-type tripods and with a range of DJI gimbals, enabling fast changes between stabilizer, handheld, and tripod setups. Compatible DJI gimbals called out include: RS 2, RSC 2, RS 3 Mini, RS 3, RS 3 Pro, RS 4 Mini, RS 4, and RS 4 Pro, etc.
