The SmallRig 5721 lets you capture first-person, hands-free footage while hiking or performing active movements. It mounts to most standard backpack straps and gives you flexible framing with a ball head that supports 180° panning and a 2-prong mount that allows 180° tilt. Use it to switch smoothly between landscape and portrait orientations during outdoor POV shooting.
The mount fits most standard backpack straps that measure 5–7 cm in width and 1–1.5 cm in thickness. It is compatible with action cameras that already include a two-prong mount. If your camera lacks a two-prong mounting interface, you will need a separate two-prong adapter to attach it.
Note that the maximum load capacity is 500 g. Therefore, use the mount with lightweight action cameras and accessories that stay within this limit. The combination of hook-and-loop fabric and silicone grip dots helps keep the camera stable and slip-resistant while you move.

Answer: The mount fits straps 5–7 cm wide and 1–1.5 cm thick. Check your strap measurements before purchase to ensure a secure fit.
Question: Can I use any action camera with this mount?
Answer: The mount is compatible with action cameras that have a two-prong mount. If your camera doesn’t include a two-prong interface, you will need a separate two-prong adapter to attach it.
Question: How stable is the mount during active movement?
Answer: The mount combines high-density woven hook-and-loop fabric with an inner lining of silicone grip dots to increase friction and reduce slippage. However, remain within the maximum load capacity of 500 g for best stability.
Question: What kind of adjustments can I make while the camera is mounted?
Answer: You can pan horizontally up to 180° using the ball head and tilt vertically up to 180° via the 2-prong mount. These ranges let you switch between landscape and portrait orientations and fine-tune your POV framing on the go.
