This Hydrophobia rain cover uses RealTree APX fabric to combine the proven weather protection of the Hydrophobia Series with a realistic camouflage pattern. It helps wildlife photographers stay discreet while shielding camera gear from rain, dust, and harsh outdoor conditions. Note: eyepiece is required and sold separately.
Photographers asked for a camo version to remain unobtrusive in the field. Think Tank responded by applying RealTree APX, a pattern widely used in hunting that the product description states is one of the most realistic and effective camouflage patterns available. The cover keeps you low-profile while maintaining the Hydrophobia Series’ durable construction.
The Hydrophobia D 70-200 V3 retains the Hydrophobia Series’ seam-sealed 3-layer construction. This construction protects camera gear in intense downpours and against dusty terrain. In addition, the cover includes a Durable Water Repellent (DWR) coating for an extra layer of protection and weather-resistant zippers to help block moisture.
The cover uses multiple materials and hardware elements chosen for durability and weather resistance. The construction combines rip-stop fabrics, laminates, taped seams, and sturdy hardware to protect gear and maintain functionality in the field.
