The GVM 1200B AIO is a powerful 1200W Bi-Color COB LED fixture designed for professional film production, TV, advertising, interviews, live streaming, and studio photography. The integrated all-in-one design combines the lamp head, power supply, and control system into a single unit, eliminating the need for a separate ballast or external control box. With a color temperature range of 2700–6800K, a CRI of 97+, TLCI 97, and a maximum illuminance of up to 42,800 lux at 3 meters with a standard reflector, the GVM 1200B AIO delivers high output, accurate color rendering, and a smooth workflow both in the studio and on location.
The GVM 1200B AIO combines a powerful 1200W COB light source with integrated electronics and a power supply. By integrating the controller and ballast directly into the lamp head, it reduces the need for extra cabling and separate units on set. This design makes the fixture quick to set up and easy to move between different lighting setups, while providing sufficient output for larger studios, high ceilings, and shoots where the light needs to be placed farther away from the subject.
With an open front, the fixture delivers up to 6,240 lux at a distance of 3 meters, while with the standard reflector, it can reach up to 42,800 lux at 3 meters and 6,800K. The high light output makes it possible to create clear directional lighting, work with diffusion, or use larger light modifiers without losing too much output. This makes the GVM 1200B AIO suitable for everything from powerful key lights and backlights to simulating sunlight and larger studio setups.
The wide color temperature range from 2700K to 6800K makes it easy to match tungsten, daylight, and mixed lighting environments without separate filters. CRI 97+, TLCI 97, CQS 94, and TM-30 values of Rf 93 and Rg 101 deliver natural skin tones and consistent color rendering in front of the camera. The fixture also offers CCT mode, Source Matching, and lighting effects via the GVM app.
Brightness can be adjusted continuously from 0 to 100% with flicker-free control and up to 0.01% precision. The advanced PWM dimming allows for fine-tuning of exposure even at very low levels and creates smooth transitions without visible steps. This is particularly useful for controlled studio shoots, product photography, dramatic scenes, and situations where the light needs to be precisely balanced against existing light.
The GVM 1200B AIO uses a standardized Bowens mount and can be combined with softboxes, reflectors, lanterns, Fresnel accessories, and other Bowens-compatible light modifiers. The secure locking mechanism simplifies accessory changes and keeps larger modifiers firmly in place. The removable U-shaped bracket also provides flexible angling and can be removed for easier transport and storage.
The fixture can be controlled directly via the built-in control panel or wirelessly through the GVM app. The USB port is used for firmware updates, while the separate data connection enables expanded control when used with compatible GVM BOX accessories. With the right accessories, the system can be integrated into professional workflows using CRMX, DMX, RDM, and Art-Net.
The advanced cooling system combines passive heat dissipation with active fan cooling. Four modes—Intelligent, High Speed, Silent, and Passive Cooling—allow you to customize the cooling to suit the recording situation. For sound-sensitive interviews or drama productions, Silent or Passive Cooling can be used, while the more powerful modes provide efficient cooling during continuous operation at high power.
Despite its high output, the lamp head weighs approximately 10.6 kg without the bracket and 12.5 kg with the bracket. The housing is made of aluminum and engineering plastic to provide a good balance between strength and portability. The integrated design, wide voltage support of 100–240 V, and included carrying case make the fixture suitable for both permanent studio setups and on-the-go productions.
