The Aputure Amaran Tri-8s is Amaran's top model providing powerful and 100% flicker free light with a high CRI / TLCI value (CRI95 +). The lighting has a very robust and solid construction with a body of metal and a front of polycarbonate.

Amaran Tri-8 is available in two models:

Tri-8C has adjustable color temperature with maximum brightness of 6500 Lux at 1m
Tri-8S has a fixed 5500k color temperature with maximum brightness of 7000 Lux at 1m.

Adjustable color temperature

The Amaran Tri-8 C has both stepless adjustable power and adjustable color temperature from 2300 ° K to 6800 ° K. The LCD display shows in addition to brightness and color temperature also shows current battery status and group / channel setting for remote control. Thanks to the fact that the illumination has effective passive cooling since the backside serves as a large heat sink and no fans are required which makes the lighting completely silent.

Wireless Control

The lighting can be conveniently controlled via the supplied remote control or via the dial on the side of the lighting. The remote control has a range of up to 100 meters with support for 4 groups (A, B, C and D) and 3 channels. The RC1 remote control is compatible with other Apture Amaran and Light Storm series lighting devices equipped with remote control controls.

Power supply

The Aputure Tri-8 C can be powered either via the 230V power outlet or via 2pc NP-960/970 rechargeable batteries. The lighting also has a built-in charger that charges the batteries when the lighting is plugged into the electrical outlet.

Softbox And Mounting

The Aputure EZ box is included and mounted on the lighting when you want a little softer light. Outlets for fixing the softbox are located on the sides of the light panel. The lighting comes with a tiltable tripod mount with umbrella mount for mounting on lighting racks or rigs and other accessories with 16mm bracket.
