The Sony FX6 has a lightweight and modular camera body that you can customize to your liking without compromising on video quality. The FX6 can film up to 4K with 120p with minimal rolling shutter, excellent low light features (up to 409,800 ISO) and a wide dynamic range thanks to its 10.2 MP Exmor R CMOS sensor and new Bionz XR processor. The image profile S-CINETONE gives a large dynamic range and the right cinelook. FX6 is part of Sony's Cinema Line that defines a new era of filmmaking.

With a high dynamic range of 15+ steps with S-Log3, and a color depth greater than Rec 2020, the camera fits in basically any recording environment. S-Cinetone is the standard profile on the Sony PXW-FX9, which is adapted to meet the requirements of today's content creators with rich colors, natural face tones and a softer tone - developed with the same expertise as Sony's world-leading VENICE digital film camera. S-Cinetone means your content looks great right out of the camera, with subjects that really stand out, while retaining plenty of dynamics for finishing thanks to the high-performance full-frame sensor.

Double bass ISO

With dual base ISOs of 800 and 12,800, this means you can increase the sensitivity of the sensor without getting more noise in the image. This means that you can film in poorer light conditions without losing image quality.

Maximize recording with CFexpress type A

CFexpress Type A is slightly smaller than CFexpress type B. As the FX6 uses type A, you will be able to use both CFexpress cards and SD cards in the new camera. To support all video modes in the camera, you need to use the CFexpress card. CFexpress is required at the highest recording modes such as slow motion (eg 120 fps and 240 fps) in high resolution.
