Dji Ronin 2 is a powerful upgrade of the predecessor Ronin which can now handle up to 13.6kg. This allows you to use larger cinema cameras with larger lenses like  arri alexa mini, Sony Fs7, ursa mini arri alex xt and more. Like its predecessor, the Ronin 2 features support for Underslung, Upright, and Briefcase operation modes to help you achieve the best angle. However, it has been redesigned to enable easy transition between Upright and Underslung modes without changing the position of the camera. It also offers a number of other improvements, in particular, enhancements to the control software and physical design to simplify taking complex shots without sacrificing performance, all while making important functions more readily accessible.

Ronin 2 Performance

With upgraded motors, ronin 2 is able to handle a large selection of cameras where it resists strong winds and g-force created when mounting the gimbal on a car. This makes the result as smooth as possible.
As the motors on the ronin 2 are eight times stronger than the previous model, the gimbal can handle speeds up to 120km / h with a camera weighing up to 13.6kg. This is also due to the fact that the motors have "precision precision" encoders where the accuracy is at 0.02 °

Versatility

Ronin 2 has a detachable grip so you can switch between different situations from having it on a crane, vehicle or just handheld. The grip also has feet so that you can easily put it down when you do not use the gimbal.

Simple Handling

Making fine adjustments, which is essential for proper camera balancing, is now simplified with integrated adjustment knobs and a re-designed camera mounting base.

Dji Assistant App

The extensively refined, redesigned, and expanded Gimbal Assistant app, helps to create content with minimum effort via new features such as CamAnchor, Timelapse, and Panorama, providing a more intuitive and easier to use full control system for Ronin 2.

Intelligent

Enhanced intelligence means filmmakers can get shots with Ronin 2 that would once have needed specialist expertise or additional equipment, from total smoothness control to studio-oriented smart features. Intelligent features include Panorama, Timelapse, and CamAnchor modes.

Hot-Swap Batteries

Ronin 2 can be powered by either one  battery or two batteries at the same time. This means that you can change batteries without interrupting a shot. The batteries are now also extra robust where they can withstand extreme weather conditions due to self-heating function where they can handle down to -20ºc.

Integrated GPS

The built-in GPS provides Ronin 2 with essential information for gimbal acceleration and speed, which is crucial for maintaining the camera's position and the horizon level when moving at high speeds while mounted to a vehicle or drone.
